Hola magic makers!

Today i asked a VERY important question to our Instagram audience! Curious what it is (and honestly, i'd LOVE for you to weigh in!), check out our story for the next 24 hours to vote! Or the post here in case you missed the 24hr story window.

Asking and then answering this question myself, got me wandering down a rabbit hole of what else do i see as magic/al? Like, not as in traditional tools like oracle, tarot decks, astrology, etc. But those things that, to a muggle or person not invested in magic, appear one dimensional, non-magical, and/or "just or story?"

But more important than what i see as magic, is what YOU see as magic.

What do you see as magic?

Is it only the things that others--say a teacher, authority, or someone else deems, labels, or identifies--as magic? The things that we've been trained to see in our magical communities as magic--those things that every one talks about on their social media feeds?

Or is it something else? Something much deeper. Something only you can see?

What do you see as magic?

Maybe it IS the Star Wars saga. Maybe it's the home cooked meal you purchased from your local grocery store. Maybe it's the grocery store itself, or the oven that magically heats up the food you are about to eat.

What you see as magic is a gateway to understanding what you believe magic IS but it's also medicine on how you might begin to live out the magic you seek.

For example (and 🚨 spoiler alert🚨), i see Star Wars as magic. A metaphysical odyssey where the viewer can learn and unpack spirituality from a lens of play vs. one of condescension or as something one must get "right." A world whose language and characters have breathed life into my own practices of nonverbal communication with elemental and animal allies.

Seeing Star Wars as magic has helped me live my magic by widening the scope of belief of how magic can show up in my life.

So i ask you again, merry magic maker, what do you see as magic?

Whatever YOU SEE AS MAGIC, let it be a portal of play. Allow it to show you yourself in different, multi-dimensional ways.

The Force of spirit, the essence of magic is all around us.

Open our heart eyes we must.
